Web 2.0 for tourism businesses in Estartit

On March 19 I have the pleasure of teaching in Estatit 5 hours of Digital Marketing devoted to Web 2.0 and its evolution.

In this session we will see what is Web 2.0, how it differs from 1.0, which conform tools and how they can be used by tourism businesses in the area. Finally, we will see what is Web 3.0 and new brings.

This is a talk that I teach several times each week but which greatly enjoy every time I do. The specially prepared for each session and included examples that will help attendees understand each of the concepts. Over the days and weeks to review the section on Web 3.0 developments I found getting excited and passionate about my work make me.

Slides III Professional Tourism Forum

Today I had the pleasure of attending the III Professional Tourism Forum in Sant Carles de la Rapita (Tarragona).

The day was excellent and impeccable organization. Alex Rovira has been great as usual, and the other speakers have also been interesting.

For my part, commenting that I was delighted to participate in the forum and share time with both the other speakers as attendees. I hope to see in future occasions.

These are the slides that I used last Wednesday November 23, when I had the pleasure of participating as a speaker at the Workshop Pyrenees Girona '11.

In this session we look at tourism demand we will have in 10 years. How is it? What segments the form? What needs do you have? How you want to enjoy your leisure time? How we adapt our products to this new market? and How should we adapt our web site, first to current demand (generation 2.0) and then to the next generation?

3.0 Rural Tourism in La Vall d'en Bas

La Web 3.0 Turismo RuralOn Wednesday November 24 I have the pleasure of participating as a speaker at the Workshop Pyrenees Girona '11.

In this session we will take the crystal ball and we look at tourism demand we will have in 10 years. How is it? What segments the form? What needs do you have? How you want to enjoy your leisure time? All these questions will help us to discuss how our tourism product should be and how we could make it known among this type of customer.

To do this we will see what the web 2.0, how it is evolving and therefore how it should be the website of a tour company to be prepared for this imminent future and what should be our strategy to reach new target audience.

Digital Marketing for Food and Rural Tourism

Marketing Digital para industrias agroalimentariasThe next 19 and July 20 I have the pleasure of participating in two days dedicated to innovation and talent.

These seminars are organized by the Forest Technology Centre of Catalonia and they are part of the innovative project "CatCentral 2.0 Innovation and Talent"And they aim to help develop the economic fabric of the area and Bergadà Moianès through innovation and the use of internet.

This could not have organized various lectures, two of which I will participate:

  • Dining 2.0: How to leverage 2.0 tools to promote agri-business. This session will be held on July 19 in Berga.
  • Rural Tourism 2.0: How to leverage 2.0 tools for online promotion of our cottages. This session will be held on July 20 in Solsona.

In both sessions we will see what the web 2.0, how it affects our business, how to convert a web 1.0 site in a 2.0, how social networks and other tools related to web 2.0 and what are the key success factors are working.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of participating as a speaker at the 2011 edition of Audiovisual Market of Catalonia.

This fair, year after year, brings together audiovisual professionals who are somehow related to what is known as "local television" ... what is commonly called local television.

For my part, I participated imparting aimed at offering modest assistance in the form of 10 tips to improve online communication companies present at the event presentation.

Sponsorship Slides 2.0

Today I had the pleasure of participating in Sponsorship Seminar - New Trends, new experiences, organized by Sport Cultura Barcelona and the IESE.

Both the two round tables and individual presentations have been very interesting and in all cases the public has participated with intelligent questions, which have given rise to more interesting explanations. What more could you want?

Web 2.0 applied to Sport Organizations

Last Friday I had the pleasure of giving the presentation on Web 2.0 adapted to how they can take advantage of the swimming clubs for loyalty to its users, to attract new members and to give value to the brand of their sponsors.

The talk I gave in the framework of the Days 2.0 have title V microFÒRUM the AECNC - The Web 2.0 sports entities, Organized by the Business association of swimming clubs in Catalonia.

Como suelo hacer en estos casos, para preparar la charla revisé las páginas web de los asistentes y busqué las mejores prácticas para ponerlas como ejemplo. Tal como me ocurre cada vez que lo hago, esto me da la ocasión de tomarle un pulso al sector y ver cómo se están resolviendo (desde diferentes ángulos de visión) los problemas a los que se enfrentan este tipo de entidades. Así que cuando digo que es un placer impartir este tipo ponencias, no lo digo por decir… lo digo porque me causa placer aprender nuevos enfoques y descubrir nuevas maneras de afrontar los retos que supone la comunicación online. A demás del placer que supone poder tener la ocasión de explicar lo que he ido descubriendo a una audiencia formada por representantes de casi la mayor parte de clubs de natación de Catalunya… que son muchos.

Once my talk began of Rafael Gimeno-Bayon www.uneon.es, abogado asesor en derecho de nuevas tecnologías, especializado en la resolución de problemas de reputación online des del punto de vista legal. La verdad es que ponencia me gustó muchísimo porqué no fue la típica ponencia de “abogado que es alérgico a las nuevas tecnologías” y que va poniendo palos en las ruedas de “los de marketing”. Rafael es un profesional del Derecho con amplios conocimientos de marketing que en todo momento ayudó a los presentes indicando cómo deberían trabajar, qué clausulas legales deberían incluir en sus páginas, para poder sacar el mayor provecho de sus acciones de marketing digital.

We also expluso some cases of online defamation, and some cases of usurpation of personality, and explained how they were resolved. In short, a very interesting presentation and I'm sure it was very useful for attendees.

Web 2.0 in the Rotary Club of Sabadell

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being the guest speaker at one of the weekly meetings conducted by the Rotary Club of Sabadell.

This time I explained what is Web 2.0, how it differs from 1.0, what it is, what should be our goals to consider a strategy 2.0, and tools are at our disposal to fully develop the capabilities of our website into a 2.0 site.

I also explained how it is evolving marketing and customer relations, and the consequences thereof when considering our online communication.

I ended the presentation with a small sample of what will be the web 3.0 (I know I always like the audience ... or at least not indifferent :-)
