February 8 and 9, Digital Marketing Course for Cultural Industries

On February 8th and 9th we will give a new edition of the Digital Marketing Course aimed at the creation and promotion of web pages related to the cultural industries (record labels, promoters, art galleries, publishers, theatres, various companies, etc.).

As in previous editions, the course is organized by ICIC (Institut Català d'Indústries Culturals) through the SDE (Business Development Service) and its objective is to help Catalan cultural industries to be more competitive thanks to the use of the Internet and the incorporation of new technologies in their marketing strategies.

To this end, a work programme has been organised that will cover various aspects of Digital Marketing:

1. What should the website of a company dedicated to culture be like (sections it should contain, how to orient it towards the client and not the product, what should the content manager behind the website be like, what types of managers we have at our disposal, etc.)
2. How to attract visitors to the websites of different types of cultural industry (SEO, SEM, Advertising, Public Relations, Web 2.0, etc.)
3. How to convert visits into business contacts (usability, persuasion, etc.)
4. How to convert visitors into customers (in the case of an e-commerce business)
5. How to build customer loyalty and develop it (loyalty programs and lock-ins).
6. Web analytics aimed at monitoring cultural marketing actions.

We will teach the classes Victor of Francis (the first day) and myself (the second day).
