If 10 years ago, just when the first smartphones appeared, we saw a great wave coming that would radically change our businesses, today we see another wave approaching that will again be disruptive and will require a significant adaptation by companies. We are starting to call it Web 4.0.
Tomorrow, January 26th, I have the pleasure of giving a lecture at the Sabadell Chamber of Commerce on what this approaching wave is like and how we should adapt our companies. This session is open to everyone and is free (it's not every day that I can invite everyone... normally my sessions are part of a master's degree or are in company and therefore private)… so although a little late, I extend the invitation to the readers of this website.
The session will cover what Web 4.0 is, what its characteristics are (and we will review Web 3.0 to see how it is transforming into 4.0) among other topics we will see what IOT, VR, AR, the semantic web are, how the first AIs are being used, how the collaborative economy transforms value chains, how Big Data is managed, and we will review all the changes that these new technologies entail in our companies).
The conference starts at 9:30 a.m. at the headquarters of the Sabadell Chamber of Commerce. If you want more information you will find it here: Montse Peñarroya Web 4.0 Conference
See you tomorrow.
A big hug
