A new edition of the course will be held on March 28 and 30. Digital Marketing Course for Cultural Companies that organizes the SDE (the Business Development Service of the Catalan Institute of Cultural Industries).
The course consists of 10 hours of class that combine theory and practice (it is held in the classrooms of Pompeu Fabra University and each student has a computer). In this way, it is hoped that marketing professionals from cultural companies will have the necessary knowledge to conceptualize their company's website and to create an online action plan that will lead them to achieve their business objectives.
The agenda will be as follows:
- How a website works: What should a cultural company's website look like? What open source tools are available to create a website? How can I make my website unique despite using a standard content management system? What do I need to do to ensure that my website is indexed naturally in search engines? etc.
- Website structure: What is the basic structure of a cultural company's website? How can I focus on the client and not the product? How can I reflect my company's marketing strategy on my website? How can I get more people to contact us and request information? How can I sell more?
- Online Promotion: How can I promote my website? What type of advertising can I do? How can I use Web 2.0 tools to promote my website, my products and to promote my company? etc.
We teachers are Victor of Francis, International Digital Marketing specialist and myself.
The course will be held from 9:00 to 14:00 on Monday, March 28 and Wednesday, March 30. As I mentioned before, it will be held at Pompeu Fabra University (Campus Ciutadella – Ramón Trías Fargas, 25) in computer room 40.153.
