WhatsApp It is revolutionizing the world of communication. Not only do all teenagers and adults use it, but it has also managed to close the digital gap that until now separated the elderly from people who use ICT tools on a daily basis. In most homes we can find examples of grandparents, uncles and aunts aged 80 or older, using WhatsApp to stay in touch with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At the marketing level, this tool is not yet widely used, so its implementation in companies represents an innovation and at the same time, a competitive advantage. That is why it is important to know how to use it and for what purpose.
How to use WhatsApp for business
After all this year doing research in this field and collecting good practices carried out by industrial companies, tourism companies and tourist destinations, finally about a month ago, I managed to put together a 2-hour class explaining the 4 basic ways to use Whatsapp for business, the complementary tools that should be used to use it properly in a business manner and a list of 12 tips to improve style and etiquette in communication through WhatsApp.
The 4 ways companies are using this tool are as follows:
- Customer service.
- Affinity customer groups.
- Mailing lists.
- Specific events.
In the session we will look at them in more depth and with some examples, so that they can serve as inspiration for the companies that attend the event.
The first session was held at the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce, and it was a great success. The next session will be held at the Sabadell Chamber of Commerce on January 22, 2016. Registration is free but attendance must be notified to the chamber.

You can get a lot out of WhatsApp, especially now that it's totally free again. Thanks a lot for the tips.
A very interesting article, especially if we take into account that it is once again completely free.
