Vacuum jumping from the highest bridge in the world
I do not usually write about personal issues, but this time I'll make an exception.
This is the video of my son Jaume doing "bungee jumping". Jaume is conducting a stage of a year in Cape Town, South Africa and occasionally makes breaks to better know the country.
Last week, he and some classmates, made an excursion along the route called "Garden Route". One of the stops was at the highest bridge in the world (I have no idea what it's called), but where they have mounted an attraction for adventure tourism consisting jump the bridge tied to a bungee cord.
Desdel point of view of tourism, it is interesting to note how the company that manages the activity, and films and edits the video that allows then recreate the experience. Thus achieving other users to hang on Youtube, Include it in your blog and mothers of users will also be included in your blog, which contributes to viral spread to tourism.
The video delivered in the same attraction (payment [not know how many Rands paid my son, and I will ask him]). So this video is both a source of income and a marketing tool ... a good example of promotional activity Tourism 2.0
