Cities 2.0 Slides

Contents of this article

Yesterday I had the pleasure of participating in the Citymarketing days organized by the Barcelona Provincial Council and IL3 (University of Barcelona).

My participation consisted of explaining in 5 hours what Web 2.0 is, how it can be used to manage the promotion (both to tourists and residents) of a city, how some cities do it, what are the key success factors and where the Internet is evolving and how this will affect the promotion of cities.

I just posted the slides I used for this class on Slideshare, in case they are of any use to you. You can see them below:

May everything go well.
A hug.

  1. I have not been in this course but I have been to Girona and I always look at the one that includes the blog. I have reviewed this presentation. On slide 83 (organize) I don't quite understand why Twitter is an eina and Facebook is a great way to donate to people. Why a blog with all dues categories?
Greetings and thanks for all the interesting material that you have.

    1. Teresa, many thanks for fer-m'ho notice… it is a mistake. Both Twitter and Facebook are a mitjà. The blog, in fact, could be in the two categories: it could be an eina in which to publish continguts that our material or third parties recollect via RSS, now it is a platform to donate and disseminate our writings (a mitjà).

Many thanks. To which I spent a moment I will correct the new presentations (I cannot touch this one anymore because if I edit it I will lose the history of Slideshare visits).
      A strong embrace.
      Montse.
