Yesterday I had the pleasure of participating in one of the conferences organized by the Department of Culture of the Provincial Council of Barcelona and the Associative Communication Ens, which aim to improve communication between Catalan cultural associations. To this end, yesterday's event was organised and another one to be held on 5 October.
The world of the Marketing for Associations It is not easy, and even less so online. Normally webmasters are volunteers, they do not have any kind of budget and only have basic knowledge regarding Marketing and Digital Marketing. Even so, most of the entities that participated in the conference yesterday had a website and a Facebook account.
The objectives that these associations seek in their online communication are usually:
- Attract new members.
- To make its activities known to the general public.
- Find new employers or retain current ones.
- Use your website and digital tools to improve communication between your partners.
So a well-built website, which is indexed well in search engines and which has a good web analytics system, is the first step to start working on communication through the Internet.
In the framework of these days I explained 10 Digital Marketing Actions which can be done at virtually no cost and will help to significantly improve your online initiatives.
These are the slides I used to illustrate my presentation.
I hope they are useful to you.
A hug.

One Response
Thank you for your intervention and your ideas.
Overall I liked the three presentations, each of them provided many ideas; another thing is being able to apply them, since each center has very specific characteristics.
In my case, most of the public is not a Facebook user and I don't know if it would be a good idea to work on it, although I am looking into other social networks.
But I will start working on improving the website, the keywords and trying to get links!
