10 practical ideas to promote children's, youth and family theatre on the Internet

Contents of this article

Today I had the pleasure of participating in a Round Table dedicated to “How to promote and attract audiences for children's, youth and family theatre”, within the framework of the Children's and Youth Theater Fair organized by the Barcelona Provincial Council and The Show.

The aim of the conference was to publicise the different projects and initiatives carried out by different organisations to bring theatre closer to young people and families.

A representative of the Administration participated in the round table (Cristina Navarro from the Mataró City Council), a representative of a theatre (Paco Flor from the Chapí Theater in Villena), two representatives of a theater company (Berta and Clara Pons, of the Brodas company) and myself, offering the point of view of a specialist digital marketing consultancy. The round table was moderated Mireia Sabaté, director of the ODA (Office for Artistic Diffusion, of the Barcelona Provincial Council).

The slides with which I have illustrated my participation in the round table are those shown below.

  1. Hello, I think that another idea to promote children's, youth and family theatre on the Internet would be at children's parties, it would be enough to implement it within the activities of birthday party venues. Greetings!

  2. Hello Montse. The presentation is going to be very interesting and, above all, having it here is very interesting. In fact, I made this comment encouraged by the fact that I considered that entering the dialogues was important. You are going to touch on concepts that are not familiar to you and you are going to create a series of possibilities that seem super useful, the key is to learn how to apply them. For now, I would love to be able to share with the collaboration of some of your students. Can you tell me on my behalf to contact them?
    Thank you very much.

  3. Hello Montse, the presentation is very good. We are missing but the different independent portals that are promoting children's activities with many il·lusió and limited resources: PetitExplorador.com, Toc-Toc, PetitBCN and others.

It's a pity to have lost profit this time by donating an extra cup.

    1. You have the whole thing Llorenç. In theory they would even be in the apartment in which I comment on publications like Time Out... but it is a mistake not to have them directly and therefore donate them a cup of more... moreover, think about Petit Explorador (the conec bé) while the presentation was finished, and the keys to the time to deny-what it was time to explain this type of portal, let's go and leave me… cool! Well, if it looks like it, we can put a list here, and then we will complement the information, and here we will have it in detail. A veure, suggest the following oi?

      Directors dedicated to children's activities:

      http://www.toc-toc.cat

If in more connections, please let me know.
      Many thanks Llorenç.
