Practical workshop on newsletter creation in Terrassa

Contents of this article

Next Tuesday I have the pleasure of giving a practical workshop on creating newsletters at the Chamber of Commerce of Terrassa.

In the workshop we will cover the following:

  1. The strategy: objective of the mailing and the target audience. How to decide what the objective of our mailing will be and how to select the target audience.
  2. The databases: How to create our database and where to get other databases. Mistakes to avoid when purchasing third-party databases.
  3. Spam: what it is and what it is not. How antispam filters work. What are antispam nodes. What to do if we appear in a blacklist as spammers.
  4. The Data Protection Act: how it affects us, the fine print that must be included in messages, the regulations we must comply with.
  5. The creation of the newsletter: layout tools. Creation of our own templates and third-party templates.
  6. The shipment: tools for sending mailings.
  7. The results: tools for measuring results. The newsletter and Google Analytics. Ratios that we should measure when creating a mailing.

Since this is a practical workshop, during the course each student will create a newsletter template and send it to the rest of the class members to learn first-hand how the tools for sending and reporting results work. In class, the layout, sending and measurement program will be used. Mail Chimp.

If you are interested in attending this workshop, please contact the Terrassa Chamber of Commerce. You will find more information at this link: Practical workshop on newsletter creation.

  1. Good morning, Montse,
I am interested in this course but it coincides with another act and I cannot attend. You have planned to do something else.

    Thanks!
