Contents of this article

On September 28 and 29, 2011, the Platform for Coexistence in the Pyrenees and Mediterranean in collaboration with the International Fair of Theatre and Dance of Huesca are organizing the cross-border professional meeting “The performing arts in the digital age”. For my part, I have the pleasure of participating in these conferences by giving a talk on «The 10 mistakes that theatres and auditoriums make when planning their online communication«.

In this talk I will cover topics such as search engine positioning, usability, content managers, web 2.0, the objective that a website should have, etc. In total, an hour and a half reviewing some of the most common mistakes made by companies in the cultural world and especially by theatres and auditoriums, when creating their websites and when considering carrying out Digital Marketing actions.

Many other professionals from various fields related to culture and the digital world will participate in the conference, so I am sure that it will be very interesting to be able to attend their talks.

The registration period is now closed, but just in case there are still places left or if you want more information about the event, here you will find what you need: “Performing arts in the digital age”.

Note: The slides I have prepared for this talk are as follows

See you in Huesca.

  1. Hello Montserrat.
Last September I attended your talk in Huesca, within the framework of the International Theatre and Dance Fair, and it was very enlightening regarding the mysteries of positioning and other cybernetic issues. I would have liked to have asked you different questions at the time of the talk, but it was not the right moment and I am also very shy…
Well, I reiterate my congratulations…and I will continue to communicate with you, if this is not a problem for you…
    assorted greetings
    Roberto

  2. Dear Montserrat,

    Sincerely
