Digital Marketing Strategies for Cultural Industries

Contents of this article

This coming Tuesday, November 25, I will participate as a speaker in the training sessions on Digital Marketing offered by the Institut Català de les Indústries Culturals.

The aim of the conference is to encourage the Catalan cultural industry to use the Internet as a channel for promotion and marketing. To this end, a work programme has been organised that will deal with various aspects of Digital Marketing:

  1. How to attract visitors to the websites of different types of cultural industry.
  2. How to convert visits into business contacts.
  3. How to convert visitors into customers (in the case of an e-commerce business).
  4. How to retain and develop customers.

Speakers will be:

  • Victor of Francis, which will explain user acquisition and search engine positioning.
  • Myself, who will explain the conversion of visit to contact, the conversion of visit to client and customer loyalty.

The call for applications has been a great success and it really seems that there is a strong interest on the part of the Catalan cultural industry in learning more about how to market their products on the Internet or at least how to promote them. At the moment there are more than 175 participants registered.

The event will take place at the Auditorium of the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) on the 25th. The event starts at 10:00 and ends at 14:00
