New website creation course in Solsona

Contents of this article

On September 18 and 20, the Forest Technology Center of Catalonia organizes a course in Solsona on website creation, using WordPress as a platform for content creation and management.

This course will be taught in 2 sessions of 6 hours each and aims to help students build their own fully functional corporate website, with optimal indexing in Google and built-in web analytics.

To do this, the student is asked to come to class with a hosting and a domain name contracted, and his own computer. In class, the installation of WordPress will be worked on (although it is better for the student to contract a hosting that already has it installed, I recommend the CDMon Junior Accommodation, which already has it pre-installed).

Once the program is installed on the student's hosting, we will start creating the website. To do this, each student must choose a theme or a free one (in www.wordpres.org), or payment (in www.themeforest.net see templates for WordPress) and together we will begin to introduce the contents of a corporate website (who we are, what we do, our products-services-rooms [depending on the case], contact us, etc.)

During the classes, you will learn how search engine positioning works, how to easily create a multilingual site, how to obtain reliable statistics, how to quickly index your site in all search engines, etc.

The registration deadline is September 12th.

To ensure that all students complete their classes with their website online and working, the maximum number of participants is 15.
