Today I had the pleasure of teaching this Digital Marketing class at the Instituto Universitario de Posgrado, an institution that teaches online Masters for professionals and was created by Santillana Formación together with the Universities of Alicante, Carlos III of Madrid and Autonomous University of Barcelona.
The class has been taught in videoconference format and is part of the Open Conference Cycle given by prestigious speakers from the Postgraduate University Institute (IUP). The recording of the class will soon be available on the IUP website (www.iup.es)
Everything went as planned, except for the length of the class, which was a little longer than we had in mind… and it’s hard for me to summarise so much information in such a short time. Especially when we touch on topics that I am passionate about, such as SEO, SEM campaign optimisation and Usability. There is no way I can be more concise and not go into so much detail… even so, I always have the feeling that I could have explained more things. But time is time… the complete Digital Marketing class is, at least, 20 hours… there is no way to summarise this in an hour, not even by reading only the index of the syllabus. That is why today’s class was limited to the 9 basic techniques to attract traffic to a website, and we touched a little on the 6 basic techniques to convert visits into business contacts.
I hope that the students, in addition to having learned about the existence of these techniques, have been left wanting to expand their knowledge and are currently looking for additional information.
Here is the presentation used in class: Digital Marketing – Basic Techniques.
As soon as I have the link to the recording I will post it here as well.
