Today we have carried out the presentation of the E-Commerce Guide at the headquarters of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce in Igualada.
The presentation was made by the Director of the headquarters. To accompany the event, Alex de Anta gave a talk on the key success factors in the implementation of an Electronic Commerce, and I gave a talk explaining a part of the Guide.
As time was limited (1 hour and a half), I have only explained the 9 basic techniques to attract visitors to a website, and the 6 basic techniques to convert them into commercial contacts. I have only explained these techniques in general, unfortunately, since I would have needed a minimum of 10 hours to explain this part in the form of a monographic course.
In the guide itself you can read this same information, but more extensive and complete. I have also indicated to the participants that on the website of GeaMarketing and in this blog you will find additional information and other presentations that can help you expand on some of the points discussed in the presentation.
I forgot to tell the companies that attended the presentation of the Guide that the Chamber of Commerce subsidizes 50% of the cost of carrying out a small study on the Strategic Plan for the Implementation of Electronic Commerce, for any company in the Barcelona area that wants to start selling over the Internet. The total cost that the company has to bear is 750 euros and can be requested through the Barcelona Chamber delegations.

See you there.

Thank you very much Montse.
Just a quick glance at the guide and I found it very interesting.
The order of the guide is very clear.
I'm going to try to read it even though it's not my native language.
I will be looking forward to reading and learning from the next guide.
David, you are right, they have changed the Chamber's website and the link is broken. I am now editing the post and adding the new link. Here it is in the meantime: http://www.cambrabcn.org/web/cambra/recursos/guies_innovacio_tic/guia_comerc_electronic Thank you very much for letting me know.
As for whether there is a Spanish version, there is not yet, although a more extensive guide will be published soon, in English and Spanish. It will also be free like this one. I will let you know through the blog when it is available online.
Hello Montse,
I would be interested in reading your e-commerce guide. I think the link is broken or does not go directly to the guide.
I think it is in Catalan. Is there a translation into Spanish?
Thank you very much in advance.
Thanks Daniel, tens raó. Hi there was a ball of letters to the URL. Ha ho I fixed it. I'm very glad that you let me know.
I posted the link to the 9 techniques, it seems that it doesn't work...
