Seminar on Sports Sponsorship 2.0

Contents of this article

Next Wednesday, May 25, I have the pleasure of participating in the Sponsorship Seminar – New trends, new experiences, organized by Sport Culture Barcelona and the IESE.

In this seminar we will discuss the latest trends and opportunities in sponsorship of sports entities.

The programme is extremely interesting and I confess that even if I were not one of the speakers, I would be very interested in attending this event, since the organisation has carefully chosen each of the participants so that the new trends in sports sponsorship are treated from multiple points of view, which together greatly enrich the attendees of the event.

The program is as follows:

  • 08:30 –  Collection of Accreditations
  • 09:15 –  Introduction: Where are we?, by Ferran Mascarell, Minister of Culture, and Mireia Rius, Director of Institutional Relations at IESE.
  • 09:50 Sponsorship strategy: “Optimizing resources”. Round table discussion with the participation of Francesca Minguella, President of Arts Partners, Alejandro Sanz-Díez de Ulzurrun, Director of Media and Sponsorship at Vodafone, and Xavier Oliver, professor at IESE. Moderated by Alberto Fernández Terricabras, professor at IESE.
  • 11:00 – Coffee Break
  • 11:30 – Sponsor, Sponsored and the Participatory Community: “From Web 1.0 to 2.0 and the future 3.0”. Round table in which Conxa Rodà responsible for the Picasso Museum 2.0 project, Lluís Alsina Online Manager of FC Barcelona and myself participated. Moderated by Enric Enrich of Enrich Advocats.
  • 13:15 – Reflections. By José Antonio Marina, philosopher and essayist.
  • 13:45 – Conclusions and Closing by Enric Enrich and Manuel Carreras i Fisas, president of Sport Cultura Barcelona.
