New SEO Book – Search Engine Optimization

Contents of this article

The UOC publishing house is publishing the syllabuses of the most popular subjects at this university in book format. Among these syllabuses are those on SEO, which I wrote as part of the Digital Marketing subject taught in various master's and postgraduate courses.

For the paper edition, all the points that are part of a complete SEO syllabus have been updated (Google is constantly changing and you always have to be updating SEO classes!!) and illustrations have been included to make it easier to interpret each topic.

The author of the update and some of the content is Helena Casas, who you probably already know from one of her Personal Brand Management classes (here you can find more information about her: Helena Casas).

Finally, after a few weeks of work, I have created a modern, well-edited book, and, as I try to do with all the topics I write, nothing academic. Everything is explained just as it would be in a classroom. I really hate practical books where it is not clear what to do... so in this one I think everything is crystal clear!

The book has a Catalan version and a Spanish version. You can buy them directly from the publisher's website: SEO Book

Now, together with Helena, we are preparing a questionnaire and several practical cases related to the book, because Editorial UOC wants people who buy the book and want a title that confirms they have acquired the knowledge shared in it, to be able to take a test through the website and finally certify that they know the basic principles of SEO.

Well, that's all about the book… if you don't know what to give yourself for Christmas or the Three Wise Men, here's a good idea 🙂

We talk to each other.

A big hug.

  1. That moment when you find an article that talks about how to position a website on Google and see that the article is from 2014. Unfortunately, online marketing advances so quickly that if they haven't released an updated 2015 version of that book, half of the suggestions will either be too general or will have become obsolete.

Anyway, thanks for the article, I'll check out the book on my Saturday visit to FNAC:

    All the best!
